Cooper Energy decides on first drilling target in Tunisia

Published Nov 21, 2008

Australia’s Cooper Energy and Canada’s Storm Ventures International have decided that the Fuschia prospect in the Hammamet Exploration Permit in Tunisia will be the first drilling target on the acreage.

The chance of success for the target block is 21%. If this fault block is proven to contain hydrocarbons, the prospectivity of the remaining fault blocks will be greatly increased and is expected to lead to further appraisal drilling.

The partners are now looking for a rig and well design for the Fuschia well.
